The Polytron32 tools are those located as icons on the Main Toolbar. They are:
Lets take a look at the Texture Selection Dialog.
At the top of the window you will see two radio buttons. One is for setting the texture to a Flat-Shaded Polygon and the other is for a Texture Mapped polygon. The Flat-Shaded polygon is a colored polygon, not 'flat' like the name implies. When this button is checked, the texture display window changes to show a color setting tool (see image at the bottom of the page). Here we can set the color of a polygon. This is not used often but we have this option. The interface itself is self explanatory. If you intend to use replacement bitmaps, do not use flat shaded polygons.
The Textured Polygon Button is set by default (see image below). This should be checked if you want to use polygons that use textures instead of colors. This is the most often used method of texturing polygons. You must use a textured polygon if you wish to use replacement bitmaps as used by Rbotedit.
On the bottom left of the window lies a button labeled Global Settings. Clicking this button will reveal an additional section of the window (as shown at right). This is where the First Model Texture and the Number of Textures is set.
The main window shows the graphical default textures starting with the First Model Texture and followed by the images assigned by the Number of Textures box. These textures are taken from the list described earlier. You cannot see replacement textures set with RBotEdit in this window.
To the top and right of the window is a single image of the assigned texture of the current polygon.
The Marked Apply button will apply the selected texture or flat shaded color to the currently marked polygons. The Current Apply button will set the selected texture or shade to the currently selected polygon only. The Close button would seem obvious but if you change the First Model Texture or the Number of Textures, simply hitting the Close button will make these changes.

If the current polygon is a Flat-Shaded polygon, meaning it is a color-only polygon, then the dialog will appear like this. To change the color, you need only adjust the three color sliders or enter a number in the text boxes.
